The Polish soprano Agnieszka Kozlowska was born in Szczecin and began her musical career at the age of seven, completing her primary and secondary school studies as a violinist. In 2001 Kozlowska graduated with distinction from the Academy of Music in Poznan, where she studied vocal acting with Krystyna Pakulska. She has won prizes in the Kurpinski All-Poland National Singing Competition in Wloszakowice, and the International Singing Competition in Passau. She also received a grant from the Polish Ministry of Culture and the Arts.

During her studies Kozlowska made her operatic debut at the Grand Theatre in Poznan in the role of Papagena in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte and subsequently sang Young Galina in Marcel Landowski’s opera Galina, and Basia in Jan Stefani’s Cracovians and Highlanders. She took the role of Young Galina to the Theatre Heilbronn and to Expo 2000 in Hannover.

Since March 2001 she has been a soloist with the Warsaw Chamber Opera, making her debut in the part of Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte. She has also performed in other Mozart operas, as Kontanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Pamina in The Magic Flute, Suzanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Sandrina in La Finta Giardiniera, Rosina in La Finta Semplice, Fortuna in Il Sogno di Scipione and Der Weltgeist in Die Schuldigkeit des ersten Gebots. Other roles include Adina in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore, the title role in Semiramide and Amenaide in Tancredi by Rossini. She has travelled with the Warsaw Chamber Opera Company to opera houses in Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Lebanon, Oman and Japan, where she was enthusiastically received by her audience.

Agnieszka Kozlowska has also worked with companies in Halle and Chemnitz, Germany, performing as Queen of the Night. She has also made guest appearances at the Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz, Poland as Lakmé in Léo Delibes’s opera of the same name, at the Castle Opera in Szczecin as Adele in Die Fledermaus for the New Year Gala Concert, as well as with the Baltic Opera in Gdansk as Gilda in Verdi’s opera Rigoletto. She has sung with the Polish National Philharmonic Orchestra in Warsaw, the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Brandenburger Symphoniker and Sinfonietta Wuppertal. She also collaborates with many other Polish philharmonic orchestras to give symphonic and chamber music concerts with a repertoire from Baroque to contemporary music.
